Susan Viola Abshier, age 49,
Formerly of Port Royal Drive in Belle Vernon, PA,
Passed away at her residence in Brownstown, Indiana,
on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 6:00 a.m.

Susan was born on April 29, 1959, in Traverse City, MI.
and resided with her husband of 31 years, Thomas Abshier,
in Brownstown until the time of her passing.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Anna (Pickard) Helton.

Mrs. Abshier worked as a registered nurse since 1993.
She loved to work in her garden and enjoyed cooking.
She also enjoyed her two Chihuahua’s, Poco and Sally.

Susan Abshier is survived by two brothers, Rick and Paul Helton, both of MI
Two sisters, Jayne Jacot and Janet Pennell, also of MI
Her daughter Jolene K (Andy) Graley of Ashford, WV
Her son Joseph James (Melody) Abshier of Killeen, TX
Four grandchildren,
Matthew and Jana Graley of WV
Robert Deblasio, and Anthony Abshier of PA.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Shirley Abshier of Poplar Bluff, MO.

God called her home with angelic love

To be his angel light
Through the darkest night
To help bring other angels home
When its no longer their time to roam
To be his guiding light

She was a spirit full of love and grace
Now she sees the smile on God’s loving face
We will miss her very much its true

God's Will In Time of Sorrow

The days will come in the days of Sorrow,
Our Lord Jesus Christ will be there,
with Open Arms to Comfort You,,,

Everyone Lives their Lives Just once,
in a Human Life, but the Sprits within us
come back in a New Life,
or in one of God's Creatures...

Through the Mourning periods
we shall shed NO tears, for the loss
For they are NOT gone,
They are With Us in Our Hearts...

They have fallen in a deep sleep,
which they will not awake on Earth,
But they will be shining a Guiding Light
Down Upon Us, and will be Watching over you...
